JURA JSP Direct Laser Engraver is a new intaglio plate making technology in collaboration with GS Software Package.
The process begins with the generation of the intaglio design to create two dimensional image and convert this, using predefined line profiles, into a three-dimensional digital format to burn into metal plate.
The key feature of JURA JSP Direct Laser Engraver is to make the plates - engraved by the system, and chromed in traditional chromium bath - ready for printing on all type of intaglio presses, from a single-note size hand proof up to the full-size Super line intaglio press.
