The digital version of IPI hides personal information in form of a special 2D-barcode into the photo. Digital IPI is invisible to the human eye and remains also unreadable by a decoder. The verification happens with a special reading software which is developed by Jura. Encoding digital information into the image provides a higher level of security than lens-readable IPI. It enables also the customer to use his own trusted encryption or authentication code (MAC) algorithm. |
